Four teams qualify for NJCAA DI Football Playoff
Charlotte, NC - With the conclusion of the 2021 NJCAA Division I Football regular season and the final national poll, the NJCAA has announced the four teams that have qualified for the first-ever NJCAA Division I Football Playoff.

As the No. 1 seed, Iowa Western will host No. 4 Snow at Reiver Football Field in Council Bluffs, IA on Saturday, December 4, at 3:30 PM ET / 2:30 PM CT / 1:30 PM MT. The Reivers finished the regular season with a record of 9-0 and held the top spot in the NJCAA Division I Football poll during the final three weeks of the regular season. Iowa Western enters the postseason averaging 36.4 points per game and 371.8 yards per game. The Reivers are led offensively by freshman quarterback Nate Glantz, sophomore running back Milton Sargbah, and freshman wide receiver Ryan Flournoy. The Badgers finished the regular season with a record of 7-1 on a three-game win streak. Snow's lone loss of the 2021 season was to Iowa Western on October 9 where the Badgers fell 17-14. Snow brings a strong rushing-led offense to the NJCAA Division I Football Playoffs. The Badgers lead the nation in points per game (48.9) and yards per rush (6.6). Freshman running back Targhee Lambson lead the Badgers with 726 rushing yards, averaging 8.1 yards per carry.
No. 2 New Mexico Military will host No. 3 Northwest Mississippi at the Wool Bowl in Roswell, NM on Sunday, December 5 at 4:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM CT / 2:00 PM MT. The Broncos finished the regular season with a record of 10-1. New Mexico Military leads the nation in rushing with 3,022 yards. Running back Anthony Grant leads the Broncos with 1,140 yards this season. The Rangers finished the regular season with a record of 9-2. On a six-game win streak, Northwest Mississippi concluded the 2021 season as the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conferences (MACCC) champion with a 56-21 win over Hinds in the conference title game. The Rangers are led offensively by running back Jaquerrious Williams and wide receiver D. T. Sheffield. Williams boasts 15 touchdowns and 1,130 yards so far this season, good for second and third in the country respectively. Sheffield is among the elite receivers in the nation with 981 yards on 51 receptions and 10 touchdowns.

The winners of the semifinal contests will advance to the 2021 NJCAA Division I Football Championship, presented by Bob McCloskey Insurance, set to take place in Little Rock, Arkansas at War Memorial Stadium. The championship will be televised nationally by CBS Sports Network on Friday, December 17 at 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT. The primetime airing is the fourth consecutive NJCAA football championship on CBS Sports Network.
