Two-Time All-America Selection Kiley Sours-Miller Named DII Women's Basketball Player of the Year
Charlotte, NC- A driving force on a historic Aztecs team, Kiley Sours-Miller has been named 2026 NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Player of the Year.
Kiley is no stranger to big moments with this Pima team. The sophomore post player was an integral member of the 2024-25 squad that finished runner-up in the NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Championship. She received all-tournament honors for her performance at the championship and 1st team All-America honors for her freshman season but returned for her sophomore year with her sights set on gold.
Throughout her stellar career at Pima, Sours-Miller tallied 1,267 points across 68 games, averaging 18.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, and shot 59.7% from the field. She also totaled 32 double-doubles in points and rebounds. In 67 of her 68 games, Kiley scored in double figures. She has been recognized as ACCAC (Arizona Community College Athletic Conference) Player of the Week 10 times, ACCAC Player of the Year twice, and ACCAC DII All-Region 1st Team twice. Kiley leaves a legacy behind at Pima and is now their second all-time scorer, behind JJ Nakai (1,397pts). Her overall finish at Pima includes a 59-10 record (0.857), 2025 NJCAA DII Women's Basketball runner-up, 2026 NJCAA DII Women's Basketball champion, and two Regoin 1, DII championships.
Her 2026 sophomore season was punctuated with a statement win. She finished the tournament with 99 points, 36 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Kiley led the Aztecs in scoring in the national championship game with 27 points, all while grabbing 10 rebounds to earn her 15th double-double this season. It only seemed fitting that Sours-Miller scored the final 2 points to seal the deal on Pima's 2026 national championship victory and first NJCAA DII Women's Basketball national title in program history.
She spent two seasons with head coach and 2026 NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Coach of the Year, Todd Holthaus, who remarked, "Kiley has had a tremendous career at Pima Community College. I'm proud of her growth and development as a basketball player. I'm glad that her on court dominance is being recognized and celebrated."
Kiley is the 5th Pima women's basketball player to be a two-time NJCAA All-America selection and 21st overall All-America selection for the Aztecs.
