Saudia Roundtree Inducted into the NJCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced Saudia Roundtree to be inducted into the NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Roundtree has been enshrined into the 2026 class as a former student-athlete of Kilgore College. Read more about Saudia Roundtree below.

Saudia Roundtree has been inducted into the NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments at Kilgore College and her continued success in collegiate and professional basketball. During the 1992–93 season, she earned NJCAA All-America honors, followed by NJCAA and WBCA All-America recognition in 1993–94. She was also named WBCA Junior College Player of the Year and helped lead Kilgore College to a national championship in 1993.
Roundtree continued her career at the University of Georgia, where she was a two-time First Team All-American (1995–96, 1996–97), earned WBCA First Team All-America honors, and was named the 1997 Naismith College Player of the Year. She helped guide Georgia to SEC Championships and back-to-back Final Four appearances in 1996 and 1997, and in 1997 received the ESPY Award for Best Female College Basketball Player. Following college, she played professionally in the ABL for the Atlanta Glory and Nashville Noise, earning ABL All-Star honors, and was a member of the 1995 USA Basketball bronze medal team.
Her induction into the NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame recognizes her impact at the junior college level, where her performance and national recognition established the foundation for a distinguished basketball career.
