Men's Soccer Players of the Week - (Oct. 9-15)
Colorado Springs, Colo.- This week's NJCAA Men's Soccer Players of the Week were announced on Wednesday afternoon by the national office. This week's recipients carried their team with solid performances.
Leon Zaffonato tallied 13 points in a big week for Massasoit (MA) to earn DI honors. Juan Gonzalez landed DI goalie recognition after Marshalltown (IA) earned an upset over then-No. 5 Indian Hills. Genesee (NY) extended its unbeaten streak as Billy Murphy powered the offense to earn DIII offensive honors and Cayuga's (NY) Konrad Pawlikowski earned DIII goalie honors after blanking a pair of opponents.
