Matt Foster | Coach | College of DuPage (IL)
Matt Foster was the head football coach for the College of DuPage from 2013-2019. Before taking over the head coaching position, Foster was the assistant coach from 1991-1996 where he helped lead the team to the longest NJCAA winning streak with a 36-0 record. Throughout his career, he led the Chaparrals to four NJCAA Conference Championships, four State Championships, four Bowl Games, and had the top 10 defense nationally in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. He also accumulated three Red Grange Bowl victories in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Foster coached two All-Americans and had over 70 players go to Division I institutions.
Off the field, Foster led the Chaparrals to contribute to the community through acts of service. As the head coach of the only junior college football program in Illinois, Foster played a vital role in the origination of the Red Grange Bowl, which was a Non-Scholarship Championship Bowl Game. He also raised thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald House through the Red Grange Bowl, had his players volunteer 1,500 hours of community service work per year with the greater DuPage County, and worked with Feed my Starving Children, a non-profit organization centered around packaging and delivering meals around the world.
Outside of his career at College of DuPage, Foster coached at Salisbury State, Central Connecticut, Wheaton North HS, and North Central College.
